Red Paper Books

Wel­come to my book­shop and port­fo­lio of children’s books. I have been design­ing books since 1991 when I first started to work as a designer for Oxford Uni­ver­sity Press. Book design­ers get just about no pub­lic­ity from a book; the author does, rightly of course, and some­times the illus­tra­tor does too — espe­cially with children’s books — but the designer who brings it together on the page prob­a­bly doesn’t get a men­tion any­where. So this lit­tle site is here to redress the bal­ance, at least in my own case, to show-off, and even sell, a few of the books that I have helped turn from a Word file into some­thing peo­ple buy and read.
